Can I make a dieselgate claim in Scotland?

If you believe that your vehicle has been affected by the diesel emissions scandal, you could be entitled to make a claim for compensation. You may be eligible to make a claim if you owned or leased a car between 2009 and 2020 which had a diesel engine. This isn’t dependant on how you acquired the vehicle, or whether you still own the vehicle.
If you owned or leased more than one vehicle that falls into the affected group, you could be eligible to make a claim for multiple vehicles. For those whose vehicles have been recalled by their manufacturer to correct the problem, you may still be entitled to compensation.
